Our Story
Our team is made up of a unique blend of talent. Our campus includes a childcare center, training center and office space. Collectively we operate a successful center , face to face training program, business and online training platform. We partner with AGC, who is a premier education consultant. We have it all under one roof and can provide the most comprehensive training program available to provide your childcare qualifications.
We saw a large need in 2009 for a good distance education solution. Our childcare staff were taking online courses and not learning anything. In a perfect world it would be wonderful to have a seasoned trainer work with your staff daily one-on-one, but that scenario is just not possible. In designing our Smarty Pants courses, we worked very hard to find a way to teach childcare professionals in an innovative and exciting format. We want our students to feel that the training they received helped them perform their job better.
In today's world, we know you need choices. Some staff want face to face classes, some like online. We wanted to provide the best of both worlds. Every center is different, and we can cater a blended training approach to fit your needs. We have found this combination training method has been our key to running a successful center. Our center, Cornerstone Academy, has used this method for the past five years. It been named the #1 daycare in Augusta the past 4 years by Augusta Family Magazine. Good training is the foundation to a successful program.
